Here’s an overview of Serenity Personal, week by week
- All managed by WhatsApp! No fiddly websites or apps. Any and all therapy content is yours to keep forever.
- Week 1: fill in the application form, and get some amazing background videos including my interview with Dr. Tory Frame.
- Then we have our first lovely personal session, where we’ll get to talk about anything on your mind.
- We’ll also do an Instant Session together on pressure in your life. You’ll love it!
- Week 2: your personalised therapy for hot flushes begins!
- By the time we have our second session in week two, you’ll be up and running.
- You’ll be starting to keep your online diary for me.
- Weeks 3-5: you’ll be really focused on your daily at-home therapy. Expect to start to see improvements in mood, sleep, anxiety, menopausal symptoms and more.
- Therapy includes help with sleep, anxiety, dealing with problems, and lovely inspiring stories and more.
- Week 6: we meet up again and talk about things.
- You need to keep going – you’ll be getting the best results by about week 12. My intention is to set you up for life-long success!

Yes, science says so! Emphatically and definitely! 🙂 There have been a lot of different research programmes, where incredibly objective analyses show that this type of therapy really works well. To make sure it works as well as it can for you, you do need to do it every day and follow my advice and the process.
It’s a 6 week course, for both the Personal and DIY versions. In both I aim to set you up for long term success.
With the Personal version, during the six week course, we’ll have three personal one to one sessions in that time. Everyone gets amazing and truly unique therapy to use at home every day too.
The DIY version of Serenity also is personalised, but not to the same degree, simply because we haven’t spent any time talking to each other.Serenity taps into your deep emotional side, which is effectively your ancient animal side, alongside your amazing imagination and modern human mind. The amazing thing about your imagination, is that it’s an incredible tool to actually change your body, by imagining a better future. Sounds a bit whacky? Well it is actually how life works in general. There’s too much to explain right here in this answer, but why not check out the free video course my colleague Simon has put online. You can wait for a spot to come free, as the course is six weeks long, and at the end I will be recruiting for another group of lovely ladies like yourself.

I’ve probably mentioned this before, but yes the DIY versions works brilliantly. It’s just not as personal as we don’t get to talk unless you book my time individually outside of the course.It’s very simple. You just need to book my time using the calendar link above, or buy the DIY package. As soon as you do, I’ll send you an application form with everything on it and you’ll be up and running.
Well I can’t tell you about everything, but I can generalise how amazing this is by comparing it to things I know about.
Serenity vs. other normal therapy (such as speaking to your local therapist and online tools like Betterhelp): these generally cost at least £60/week and a decent, confident therapist is usually £75 per hour. Serenity is much better value. I can’t be too specific, but I can promise you I’ve set this up to be at least as good, and in many ways much better than services like that, and considerably less costly.
Services like Betterhelp take huge commissions from the therapists, and completely rely on trying to get you to sign up long-term. You can imagine what that means for the therapists who have to work far harder and see more people to get a reasonable income. Here at Chillsville, Serenity is our idea how to do things better. We offer a super premium service, where I allow myself a very small number of women to work with at any time, so you get my proper attention.
Menopause herbal supplements: well, as we point out in our scientific review, the ones we’ve looked at simply don’t work. Of course there might be some somewhere that do, but we’ve not seen them. In reality it’s very hard to take any herbs or spices and have them really do much to your system, as most of them generally get chewed up in your tummy by all the acid in there.
Of course some supplements can help: ginseng for example definitely helps with energy, and creatine helps with muscles and your memory! There might be some elements in menopause supplements that do something, but from what we know, many are just money-making schemes, wrapped up in fancy marketing and branding, with no actual scientific support. They rely on what doctors call the ‘placebo effect’ which is where you believe its a medicine that will work, even though you may as well be swallowing a sugar pill. That’s why you see social media influencers peddling them and sometimes even mumbo jumbo medical words and things to try and convince you otherwise. We’re always open to disagreement here, but for us, right now, we’re sticking to the actual scientific data provided to us that you’ll see in the interview with Doctor Tory Frame.
HRT and other hormonal drugs: of course these will work for many people. What amazed us in our research is that my style of therapy can actually work better, especially when it comes to sleep, and counter balancing some of the side effects of HRT! The brilliant thing about this is that Serenity is drug-free, it’s fine to have alongside any medicines or whatever with no problems at all. To be honest this is the main thing for me – no more drugs!
I am going off at a slight tangent here, but there are many opinions out there that doctors hand out pills too qiockly. You might well be amazed at how good you are at healing yourself!!
And of course there is the utterly amazing thing about this which is that it covers so much more than menopause. You can use it from everything from stress to sleep, to quite literally any emotional problem.

So you might have noticed that Serenity therapy is part of Chillsville, a therapy clinic and approach founded by Simon a really nice therapist bloke I studied with. Simon has plans to do quite a lot, he’s starting with something fun called Synth Therapy, which is his 80s style music with added therapy content, which is really cool. And I have lots of training and seen quite a bit. It’s so simple, and common sense!!
Good question! So, in some ways they are very similar, they are both six week courses, that take you on an amazing journey to understand yourself, what causes hot flushes and start to get things under control.

Both have similar content delivered to you on a week by week basis on WhatsApp.
So now the differences:
Serenity Personal is very much based around three live sessions with me, where you get to tell me all about yourself. This means you get a lot more support. And more excitingly, you can tell me about absolutely anything you need help with, and that gets wrapped into it.
Serenity DIY is personalised, and that personalisation is based on the application form. What that means is it’s limited to issues around menopause. Not to say that’s it, it isn’t. It includes all the extras, like techniques to deal with stress, improve sleep, and much more.
And of course, as it’s DIY there are no sessions included with me. But of course you can book these separately if you want.I would love to say yes, but sorry the answer is no. I have to focus my time on my live sessions with my clients.
I’ll be keeping an eye on it, but if you need my time, I am afraid you’ll need to book it in.No, therapy is not like something like an electric toothbrush, where if it doesn’t work you send it back.
